Young Reporters Scotland

Young Reporters Scotland (YRS) is a journalism programme which offers young people an exciting opportunity to build their skills and have their voices heard on issues of sustainability.  It is an opportunity for young people to build their experience in journalism and be part of an international group of young people producing creative solutions to issues within their communities. 
To enter the national competition young people are asked to submit a piece of journalism which focuses on an environmental problem or sustainability issue.  We want to encourage young people to be as creative as possible so entries can be in a range of different media; either in the form of an article or blog; videos or animations; photographs or a series of photographs.  We ask that entries tie in with one of our broad themes, details of which can be found on our website along with a range of ideas and links which may be useful.
